Welcome to the American
Journal of Health Promotion
Interactive DataBase Search Page
Hundreds of the most significant peer-reviewed studies addressing important
research questions in the health promotion field are indexed in this searchable
database for reader convenience. Because many readers wish to know the criteria
by which the database articles are rated, the
criteria are provided here.
Each search will produce a set of articles with complete references, brief
summaries of the original articles and pertinent details such as sample size and
study duration. This service is provided by the American Journal of Health
Promotion with technical support from the National
Wellness Institute.
Searches can be performed using any combination of six variables. If a search
returns zero matches, users should try selecting fewer search variables. If the
value of a search variable is not specified, the search will return all the
studies for that variable. For example, if a specific research question is not
specified, the search will return studies relevant to all seven research
questions.
